Does peeing in the shower

cure athlete's foot?
- Read in a paperback book found
at the checkout line at the grocery store.

I think it was a serious question.
It made me laugh.

Only if you pee on your feet.

Doug,

And you don't?

Well, I've heard it is one of the most sterile fluids as it comes out, but I think I'll go with tinactin.

Actually, it does. There is something in the sterile urine that kills the athletes fungus... now if you pee on someone elses feet, THAT is a different story... I do believe that then constitutes a Golden Shower...

Hmmm. I have never thought about this. I had heard that urine helps when you are stung by a jellyfish, but that you usually need a friend nearby.

A GOOD friend.

Now I have visions of gym showers and workout buddies trying to "help a pal out".

It's (almost surprisingly) not as interesting (*ahem*) a vision as I would have previously thought ...

Normal urine is sterile, but never having had athlete's foot I won't have to put it to the test. whew. You don't have to, er, leave it on, do you?

I'm now wondering if this is why I DON'T have athlete's foot.

I know. TMI.

Okay, Paul, that MAY be TMI, but that was the best laugh I've had all week ...

I am not going to ask about any other skin-care regimens.
